Durable Metal Roofing Installation

Please sign and date your contract to confirm your product choice. The roofing agreement must be completed before the job commences. Return a copy with the material color via mail, email, or in person.

Our given time frame is an estimate based on the date of agreement confirmation. Jobs are completed in order of signed contracts. While we strive to provide notice before starting the job, weather and other factors can affect our schedule. For 36" Classic rib installations, we will call before rolling your steel, indicating a start within a week or two. Standing Seam roof installations require a 25% deposit, and we will call a day or so before beginning the project.

To facilitate a smooth cleanup process, we kindly ask that you cut the grass closest to the house. If possible, move or protect valuable items near the work area and ensure that vehicles won't be blocked in the driveway. We prioritize maintaining a clean jobsite, but if snow is present during the install, debris may be cleaned up once it melts. Please notify us if debris remains after the snow has melted.

For tear-offs, we bring a dump trailer to haul away debris after completing the job. It is advisable to secure loose items on walls, remove breakables, and cover stored items in attics to prevent any shaking or dust displacement. We take great care to protect your home and landscaping throughout the process. You may notice granules washed out from your downspouts after rain when a tear-off is performed.

Proper ventilation and insulation are crucial for your new roof. Ensure that soffits are clear of insulation and that your attic has adequate insulation. If your house is not properly ventilated and insulated, it can lead to issues like ice dams, leaks, and deteriorating roof materials.

If you believe there are potential problem areas such as chimneys, siding, or windows, please inform our estimator for evaluation and potential recommendations for additional contract work. For metal roof installations, we may recommend installing a 6" gutter, depending on the case. If you require new gutters, please let us know ahead of time, as special trim may be necessary, and installation should occur after the new roof is installed. Note that existing gutter accessories may not be re-installed if removed.

Other considerations include the need for an ice rail over high traffic areas to prevent snow and ice slides. This is not typically included in the roof estimate unless discussed or if obvious areas are identified. Satellite dishes that are in use must be removed and replaced on a pole or side of the house; we recommend arranging this as soon as you sign the contract. Cathedral ceilings may require special insulation considerations to prevent condensation.

At Parraghi Roofing, we don't require any money down except for standing seam jobs. Payment in full is expected upon completion. If you're present at the time of completion, do a walkaround with the on-site foreman. Once satisfied, pay online through the emailed invoice using the bank transfer option, mail a check, or bring payment in person. We will provide a paid-in-full receipt with warranty and tax credit eligibility. Credit card transactions will include a 3% processing fee and must be coordinated through our office.

Payments not made within 7 business days of completion are subject to a $25 per day fine and, after 30 days, may be filed for lien, unless alternative arrangements have been made. Submit a copy of the paid receipt to your insurance company to potentially receive discounts on your premium. If a previous customer referred you to us, let us know. Upon completion and payment, you will receive $100 for the referral incentive.
